Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Abrovo ("Platform", "we", "us") at abrovo.com. By using Abrovo, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. What Abrovo Is

Abrovo is an online marketplace where:

• Aspirants — people planning to move abroad — can find and book sessions with mentors
• Mentors — verified professionals already living abroad — can offer paid guidance sessions

Abrovo provides the platform infrastructure only. All mentorship sessions, advice, and payments are between the mentor and aspirant directly.

2. Eligibility & Account Security

• You must be at least 18 years old to use Abrovo
• You must provide accurate and truthful information
• One account per person

You may sign in to Abrovo using email and password, Google, or LinkedIn. Email verification may be required before your account is activated.

Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, you must notify Abrovo promptly.

3. Mentor Terms

• Mentors must provide accurate professional information
• Mentors are solely responsible for the accuracy and quality of their own guidance
• Mentors must not misrepresent or impersonate qualifications or experience they do not hold
• Mentors must comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Mentors must treat aspirants professionally and respectfully
• Platform Fee: During Early Access, mentors pay no platform fee. The first 20 approved and active mentors will be designated as Founding Mentors and will receive a lifetime platform fee rate of 5% after Early Access ends. Platform fees for mentors joining after the Founding Mentor Programme is full may differ and will be communicated at the time of joining.
• Abrovo may update future pricing for new mentors. Founding Mentor benefits, once confirmed, are honoured permanently.
• Mentors set their own prices and collect payments directly via UPI, PayPal, or Wise
• Mentors must respond to confirmed requests within 24 hours
• Mentors may leave a review of an aspirant after a completed session; reviews must be honest and based on genuine sessions
• Abrovo reserves the right to remove any mentor profile that violates these terms

4. Aspirant Terms

• Aspirants must provide accurate and truthful information when submitting requests
• Payment must be completed before or immediately after a confirmed session
• Aspirants must not share mentor contact details with third parties
• Aspirants must treat mentors professionally and respectfully
• Aspirants must not misuse the platform for purposes other than genuine mentorship
• Reviews left by aspirants must be honest and based on genuine, completed sessions

5. Payments

Currently, payments are arranged directly between mentors and aspirants. Abrovo does not currently process or hold user payments. Payment features may be introduced in future platform updates. Under the current model, we are not responsible for:

• Payment disputes between mentors and aspirants
• Failed or fraudulent UPI transactions
• Refunds (these must be negotiated directly between mentor and aspirant)

6. Prohibited Conduct

• Providing false or misleading information
• Harassing or threatening other users
• Sharing others' personal contact details without consent
• Using the platform for anything other than genuine mentorship
• Attempting to take mentor-aspirant relationships off-platform to avoid platform fees
• Creating fake accounts
• Attempting unauthorized access to accounts, data, or systems
• Abusing or attempting to circumvent authentication systems
• Scraping or extracting platform data without authorization
• Uploading malicious content or code
• Impersonating another person
• Creating fake, fraudulent, abusive, or misleading reviews

Reviews submitted on Abrovo may be moderated before becoming publicly visible. Abrovo reserves the right to remove any review it determines to be fraudulent, abusive, misleading, or fake.

7. Disclaimer of Liability

Abrovo provides a connection platform only. We do not guarantee, and are not responsible for:

• The accuracy of advice given by mentors
• Employment outcomes
• Visa or immigration approval
• Salaries or compensation outcomes
• Admissions to any institution or program
• Business success or outcomes
• Any other specific outcome resulting from mentor guidance
• Any financial loss resulting from mentor-aspirant interactions

8. Intellectual Property

Abrovo retains ownership of the platform itself, including its design, code, software, branding, and trademarks. Mentors retain ownership of their own profile content. By submitting content to Abrovo (such as a profile, bio, or photo), you grant Abrovo a limited license to display that content on the platform for the purpose of providing the service. You may not copy or reproduce any part of the platform without permission.

9. Termination

Abrovo may suspend or terminate any account that:

• Violates these Terms
• Engages in fraud
• Abuses other users
• Threatens platform security
• Violates applicable laws

This may occur with or without prior notice. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Pune, Maharashtra, India.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify active mentors of significant changes via email.
